Gli altri progetti di Robin... - The Fool - 26-01-2011
Ciao a tutti!
Ho appena appreso sul newsgroup che Robin si è rimessa al lavoro su altre storie brevi, fra cui il famoso racconto sul Principe Pezzato inizialmente concepito per l'antologia Songs of Love and Death.Citazione:I jumped right in on some short stories that have been on the back burner for quite a time. The problem is that I've been distractible, and so I'm simultaneously writing Old Paint, If You Don't Watch Out, The Willful Princess and The Piebald Prince. The two last ones are actually part of the same tale, but the POV switches in the middle. And thus it will be awkward length. Too long for a story, too short for a book. But I still want to finish them.

Ultimamente Robin non fa che gettare l'esca della curiosità su noi poveri lettori indifesi:

Non so se la donna pericolosa sia protagonista di una delle storie brevi già nominate prima, oppure faccia parte di un altro racconto. Certo è che sono logorata dalla voglia di saperne di più!
Nonostante le domande, continua a fare la vaga e a non sbilanciarsi di un millimetro!

Finalmente si è sbilanciata: il racconto si intitola Neighbors, è a firma Megan Lindholm, e sarà incluso nella prossima antologia curata da George R.R. Martin e Gardner Dozois. Questo è il post sul newsgroup:

Ok, si comincia a sapere di più. La raccolta curata da Martin e Dozois che conterrà anche Neighbors, il nuovo racconto Lindholm, è Dangerous Women. Fra le altre "penne", ci saranno la Gabaldon e lo stesso Martin, con un nuovo racconto su Dunk ed Egg. ^^

Non riesco a ricavare una data precisa, ma in base a quanto dice la Gabaldon l'antologia Dangerous Women dovrebbe uscire fra il 2012 e il 2013; molto probabilmente, quindi, la vedremo alla fine del prossimo anno.
