And I don't dare open it. Not until this work is done. Bad enough that I got Blake Charlton's Spellbound as an ARC and peeked at the first chapter. Okay, at the first, uh, four chapters, but they're really short chapters . . .

Tonight I finally sent of the rewrites of what has become volume four of The Rain Wild Chronicles. It was a massive rewrite and I actually feel very gratefulfor the opportunity to greatly improve the book. It is planned that volumes 3 and 4 of the Chronicles will both come out in 2012 in the US, UK, Australia and the Netherlands.

So. What’s next? Well, jump right onto the next writing project, of course!

Thankfully, I have these absolutely awesome re-mastered recordings of Loreena McKennitt to keep me company. And I think I can knit up the gap in a single scene.

PS. I've also heard that the publishing schedule has changed. Blood of Dragons, the final volume, will NOT be released in 2012 as was originally planned, but in Feb. of 2013.
