Here we go. Beloved's tattoos. http://sta.sh/01gj1s2jwwz3
They're not as detailed as I imagine the real thing would be, since they're meant to be printed on a piece of fabric 8 cm wide. Still, I think they came out pretty well. Also, I forgot to say: thanks for the warm welcome! I'm really excited to be here. And surprised nobody else picked this name first. Since nobody could possibly replace Fitz, being the Fool's flower girl is surely the next best thing? |

As soon as I get the hand of gimp... And I am still pretty sure that Beloved and Garetha... you know.. I actually voted thusly in the poll we made! I am melting in cuteness, too. As soon as we will have all the doll made, there are going to be some interesting snapshot! I've never seen the Icarus story as a lesson about the limitations of humans.
I see it as a lesson about the limitations of wax. “What else should you be? Human beings didn't evolve brains in order to lie around on lakes. Killing's the first thing we learned. And a good thing we did, or we'd be dead, and the tigers would own the earth.” ― Orson Scott Card, Ender's Game |

Ahaha, Gimp isn't so hard... mostly it's just a matter of experimenting with all the buttons and finding out what they do. That's how I learned.
There was a poll about...? O.o Well. I suppose it's possible. I wouldn't complain. I was planning to take a few of those myself. |

Well well, I leave for a few hours...
First of all, welcome Garetha! You're so smart for taking this nick... Your tattoo design is AMAZING and I fell in love with it. It's so bright and perfect! I want it on my skin. I WANT A TATTOO!!! Ahem. I found this plushie-idea simply FANTASTIC. I'm lookin forward to see them, and if I wasn't trying to write a book I'd like to made one of them with you. I'm quite good at create. I'm particularly curious about their outfits... Well, I'm ready to add some new smilies! Citazione:It's Beloved with a Fitz doll that's making me melt.-dies for cuteness- And I know a person who could even draw an interesting sketch... |

Thanks, Iku, on all counts.
What sort of book are you writing? I love to write as well, mostly fantasy. Thus far, we have a fair few outfits planned, but one at a time... the Lord Golden one is going to be especially fun, though. Ah, yes, the deadly cute. You follow this thread at the peril of your life! If something DOES get drawn I'd love to see it, though. |

RE: Project Cute 1: Plushie Fool!Doll
Well, I'm writing fantasy too: now this book is for a big contest, from one of the biggest publishing house here in Italy. Well, I'm trying to turn upside down some of the biggest cliché of the paranormal romance, like the triangle, or the super-handsome-male-protagonist-magic creature who fell in love with the female-weak-protagonist and so on. I tried to create a new creature, on my own (avoiding vampires, wolves, angels and demons...), nothing too powerful, and full of doubt and fear, like a human.
I like fantasy, but these days all the stories seem the same... |

I know what you mean... Stupid carbon-copy insert-name-here plotless Sue-fests. With a lot of pointless sex scenes, usually. I LOVE to see authors do better.
I just got my first rejection letter from a publisher last week. ^^; Any prospective author has to build a stack of those before she can really get moving, right? Anyway, I was expecting it; I started my first novel in high school and that's exactly what it reads like. ~sigh~ Working on something better right now. ... also a romance, come to think of it, but in an odd and roundabout way. |

Hello Garetha!!
Welcome!! As I said in the dashboard yesterday, I'm not able to sew a button so a plushie doll sounds like magic to me!! I would really love to see what you and Tiz will produce... You are the "mind" of the operation and the one who actually will sew is Tiz or I understood it wrong? |
