News su “Assassin’s Fate”

Voglio la testa di Robin. Su un piatto d'argento e con la pennetta contenente il terzo libro completo accanto.

Scrive Robin su facebook, una manciata di minuti fa:

Hm. Will this make sense to people who haven't read the Ships Trilogy or the Rain Wild Chronicles?
Well, yes. But it won't be as funny. And that part will lack impact.
Sigh.
How do I fix that?
Write a giant expository lump? Ick.
Okay, readers, please make it simple. Just go read the Liveship Traders trilogy and then the Rain Wild Chronicles, and I can quit worrying about you and just finish this book.

Per favore, lettori tutti: seguite il consiglio di Robin, se non il nostro, e leggete Mercanti e Cronache PRIMA di portare avanti la trilogia di Fitz & Fool.

Che contenta che sono di leggere questi dettagliucci...peccato per lo slittamento dell'ultimo libro ma intanto...

Parlando di Assassin's Fate, ne approfitto per riportare le ultime da Robin. Ancora nulla di certo sulla sua uscita, purtroppo, ma tant'è:

Even so, it means that publication of Assassin’s Fate has been delayed. For that, I apologize.  I know I’m not alone, and of course I’ve read all about George RR Martin’s missed deadline.  I have only sympathy for him.  Writers are not vending machines. It’s not possible to insert a certain amount of money, set the dial for a time, and hope that a book pops out.  Plotting is a messy business.  Nonetheless, I am doggedly determined to turn this book in and then to immediately buckle down and get any rewrites done swiftly.

Speriamo sia una scena degna di TUTTO QUELLO CHE HO SOFFERTO per quel personaggio all'epoca solo embrione!
